This Privacy Policy explains how Grandelivo (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and games (the “Service”). We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

1. What we collect
- Information you give us. If you use our subscribe form, we collect the details you enter — your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number — and your consent to receive notifications.
- Push subscription data. If you turn on web push notifications, our notification provider stores a device/browser push token and related technical identifiers so we can deliver alerts.
- Usage & device data. Like most websites, we (and our providers) may automatically receive basic technical data such as your browser type, device type, approximate region, referring pages, and interactions, used to operate and improve the Service.
- Local game data. Your Grande Chips balance is stored in your browser's local storage on your device — not on our servers — and is not personal information we collect.
We do not collect payment-card information, because the Service is free.
2. How we use it
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To send the notifications and updates you've asked for (new tables, weekly cup reminders).
- To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We rely on your consent for marketing notifications, and on our legitimate interests for operating and securing the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Push notifications
Web push and email notifications are optional and opt-in. We use OneSignal to deliver them. You can withdraw consent at any time — unsubscribe via any message, block notifications in your browser or device settings, or contact us to be removed. Turning notifications off does not affect your ability to play.
4. Service providers
We share limited information with trusted providers who help us run the Service, only as needed to perform their functions:
These providers may process data outside Canada; where that happens, the information remains subject to appropriate safeguards and the laws of the jurisdictions where it is handled.
5. Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies and browser local storage to make the Service work — for example, to remember your Grande Chips balance and notification preferences. See our Cookie Policy for the full list and how to manage them.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we will remove it from our active records within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent to notifications. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) if you have concerns.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
9. Children
Grandelivo is intended only for individuals 19 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 19. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when we post the updated version and revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the Service.
